AUSTRALIANA BOOKS -"GLIMPSES OF AUSTRALIA" - 2 Volumes in WAGGA WAGGA, New South Wales for sale

Here is a wonderful and rare 2-Volume set of Australiana books, detailing life in the 1800's. It contains 384 plates of scenery in black and white, and a short narrative on the subject of each plate. Topics range from all the interesting buildings in the Capital Cities, to life in the Outback, which includes Camel-drivers, Prospectors, famous Aborigines, gold mining, and bullock teams, just to mention a few. There are 776 pages in the two volumes. Both books are hard-cover, and the dustjackets are in their original condition, Both Volumes are combined in a cardboard jacket, which, unfortunately, is a bit the worse for wear, with a couple of tears and scuff marks. This is a very interesting collection, and one unlike any other I've seen. I have had to wrestle with myself for a long time to get around to selling it. It will make a unique addition to any home library, and a unique addition to any Australiana Collection. Check out my other items!
